    Hanging in the rafters gathering dust.
    Look close you can see the Tuatara (Native Lizard) detail.

    1. Were those only carved for ornamental use? Many that i've seen seem to be fishhook like.

  2. They were originally carved and used by the Native Maori for actual fishing, they have evolved to just be worn as decorative necklaces now.
    They each have meaning that the carver puts into them. He collected this last night so hopefully he will get it finished soon.
